I used three spaced periods: ". . ." as ellipses (whereas some people don't put spaces, i.e., "..."). Unfortunately, it looks like the Bite-Sized Edit sentence parser is turning my ellipses into phantom sentences consisting of ". " and whatnot.

This is just a nuisance more than a serious problem. I could always just do a find/replace for "my" ellipsis and replace it with "...", but ideally I think we'd all like a smarter parser.
Just not . . . too smart, lest it rise up against us!

also it would help OCD editors if the parser could account for single and double spaces at the ends of sentences in BSE ... just a style thing, but it makes a difference in how one suggests edits
