Let users edit contextual text in Bite-Size Edits

Sometimes you spot errors in the contextual text above and below the Bite-Size Edits text box, and it would be nice to be able to correct those edits. It might be possible to have an "expand" button, that makes those sentences also editable.

For the moment, I would like to leave the Bite-Size Edits contextual text as uneditable, until I can test to see whether or not being able to edit such errors helps users, or slows them down. One way of looking at it is that one is only responsible for the text that's in the edit box, and that one has to learn to let others be responsible for the contextual text. This is an important part of the collaboration, and is more an issue of culture than a 'bug' or technical problem.

  2. It would be nice to be able to at least flag the contextual "neighbour" as being in need of editing. I don't always read the context if the snippet I am editing seems to be clear, but if I happen to notice an error in the "neighbour" it's frustrating not to be able to do anything about it.
